The Carnation Farms has just become the designtated home of the Northwest's only Hole in the Wall Camp for children suffering from life threatening diseases.

The Carnation area is unparallelled in recreational opportunities.  From flycasting on the Tolt Snoqualmie Riversto a great day at the Remlinger Farms, which is the local version of Disneyland.
For much of it’s history, the name of this small and beatiful town has changed between Carnation and Tolt.  It’s Carnation now, named for the glorious Carnation farm just outside the city limits.

At Remlinger Farms, they bake200 pies a day. As good as Grandma used to make - better than my Grandma used to make.
We spent a lot of time with the people: We visited Carnation Christmas Tree Farm, one of the oldest continuously operated farms in the valley. From the opening of the show at Farmer’s Market to little Fiona  who told us why she loves her home town.
Carnation students showed us in Environmental Hiakus how they believe the environment can be saved. And the heart tugging story of Carnation elementary principal Doug Poage who adopted his son in Ethiopia a few years ago, and now he and his family have gone back to bring MOtti’s 17 year old brother back to Carnation, as the newest member of the Poage family.
