This month we're in Orting, and we arrived during the worst flood in 100 years, but everyone turned out to meet us and Orting High School Band showed us around the town.

Friday Night Lights came early when we caught the High School team in the State Playoffs while Orting High School Cheerleaders kept the crowd up and moving.

We toured the Cope House that goes back to the turn of the last century, and even has a secret ballroom that was used during prohibition. Everyone was friendly.

We met Kathy Michell who's taught in the Orting School District for 37 years and lots of other interesting characters too.

The Puyallup River pushed over its banks as it went through Orting.
