This
month we visit the Sheridan Neighborhood of Tacoma. The Sheridan
Language Academy is the only school west of the Mississippi where
elementary students,
Sheridan students speak their chosen language - French, Spanish, Japanese, or English - from the moment they arrive at class in the morning.
Sheridan students learn to respect the cultures and customs of other people.
Also in the Sheridan Neighborhood is the English as a Second Language School at Old Sacred Heart School.
English as a Second Language students stage a fiesta! These folks know how to celebrate! The Portland Avenue Nursery on the border of the Neighborhood completes our tour. Questions
